### Public Health Insurance (NFZ)

The National Health Fund (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia - NFZ) is Poland's public healthcare system providing universal health coverage financed through mandatory contributions.

**Who is eligible for compulsory insurance:**

- Officially employed workers (full-time and part-time contracts)
- Self-employed entrepreneurs and business owners
- Unemployed persons registered with the employment service

### How to Obtain Compulsory Insurance
